Messer recently announced that it has signed a deal to construct a new onsite facility in Tiszaújváros with Hungarian company MOL Petrochemicals, due to go into operation in 2021.
The plant will supply approximately 14,500 N§© of nitrogen and 27,000 N§© of instrument air per hour for a new polyol complex, making it one of Messer’s larger onsite facilities in Southeast Europe.
Polyol is the basic material for polyurethane foams, which are used as versatile polymer products in the construction, automotive, packaging and furniture industries. Messer commissioned its third ASU in Hungary at this Tiszaújváros site in 2017.
Messer is the market leader in the Hungarian on-site sector with 21 gas production facilities and plants currently operating at the sites of 12 major customers. In the past three years, Messer has invested 37.4 million euros in Hungarian operations. |
