Linde recently announced that it has signed a MOU with China National Offshore Oil Corporation's (CNOOC) subsidiary, CNOOC Energy Technology & Services, to jointly develop the hydrogen energy industry in China.
Together, both companies will explore the option to invest in hydrogen production and filling facilities, and further the use of hydrogen in industrial applications, particularly mobility.
Linde also signed a MOU with Beijing Green Hydrogen Technology Development (BGHTD), a subsidiary of China Power International Development to jointly promote the application and development of green hydrogen in China.
Under the terms of the MOU both companies will collaborate on a variety of green hydrogen initiatives, including hydrogen technology research and development, and the implementation of green hydrogen mobility solutions during China's inaugural hosting of the 2022 Winter Olympics.
