Iwatani recently announced that it is newly constructing the Bangkok Gas Center in Samut Sakhon Province. It will open in November 2021.

The center is the base for filling industrial gas, mainly helium, and is the second helium base in Southeast Asia after the first base in Malaysia.

Expansion of the foundation of the industrial gas business and stable supply, Iwatani is attempting to expand the industrial gas business by newly establishing a supply base for industrial gas, mainly helium, while expanding the industrial gas market in Southeast Asia.

Iwatani is the only Asian company with the right to directly purchase the helium produced in Qatar, as well as the helium produced in the U.S.
