Messer and Steklarna Hrastnik recently announced that it officially opened an oxygen production unit at Steklarna Hrastnik’s Slovenia special glass packaging plant.

Steklarna Hrastnik has been using oxygen in glass production for more than 50 years. With the construction of the new oxygen plant, it is no longer necessary to transport oxygen by tankers.

The production of pure oxygen at the company's location for the needs of the production process will thus greatly reduce the use of transport, and at the same time increase the reliability of supply. The use of oxygen in the new furnace of Steklarna Hrastnik increases the efficiency of combustion, and at the same time significantly reduces emissions.
