Air Products (AP) recently announced its plans to construct an ultra-high purity (UHP) Ammonia (NH3) distillation plant in Ulsan, Korea to serve the market in Asia.
The state-of-the-art plant and transfill station will be operated by Korea Industrial Gases (KIG), an AP subsidiary.
The Korea plant is scheduled to be on-stream in the last quarter of calendar year 2005.
This new 3rd location, AP' first in Asia, being built to meet growing customer demand, and will reinforce AP' position as the leading UHP NH3 supplier to the global Electronics industry. They will continue to manufacture UHP NH3 at its Morrisville and Hometown, Pennsylvania locations.
KIG will manufacture two lines of NH3 which is Blue NH3 (99.999% purity) for integrated circuit and TFT-LCD industries and White NH3 (99.99999% purity) for LED industry.
KIG also will be able to leverage the most comprehensive fleet of ISO units in the industry, while supplying other bulk quantities of UHP NH3 in a variety of containers and drums.
