Taiyo Nippon Sanso Corporation (TNSC), a Japanese industrial gas company of Nippon Sanso Holdings Group, and Nippon Steel recently have decided to install an energy-saving cutting-edge ASU at Kimitsu Sanso Center (Kimitsu City, Chiba Prefecture) established as a joint venture of TNSC and Nippon Steel.

TNSC has also decided to install units to produce rare gases (neon, krypton, and xenon), for which Japan relies on imports for most of its demand, thereby boosting domestic production.

The ASU’s production capacity is 60,000 N㎥/h of Oxygen gas, 120,000 N㎥/h of Nitrogen gas, 2,100 Nm3/h of Liquefied argon. And rare gas production capacity is 27 million liters/yr of Neon, 1 million liters/yr of krypton and 125 thousand liters/yr of xenon.
