Matheson Tri-Gas and Pall Corporation recently announced that they have entered into a strategic alliance to jointly develop, manufacture and sell gas purifiers to the semiconductor industry.
Both companies will have exclusive access to the others purification media to improve semiconductor manufacturing, by eliminating particulate and molecular contaminants, including oxygen, moisture and hydrocarbons, from process gases.
"Gas purification technologies becomes a dominant factor in semiconductor manufacturing. Our new alliance provides this $30 million market with an expanded portfolio of media and unparalleled purification technolog", said Steven Chisolm, president of Pall Microelectronics.
