Air Liquide and LG Electronics Tianjin Appliances (LGETA) are recently pleased to announce the signing of a long term contract for the supply by Air Liquide of hydrogen, nitrogen, argon, oxygen, helium and CO2 to LGETA’s ongoing expansion project in Tianjin.
In order to meet the requirements of LGETA’s expansion, Air Liquide will build, own and operate a new on-site gas station within LGETA’s site and supply nitrogen, and hydrogen as well as argon, oxygen, helium and CO2 by pipeline to the workshops.
This gas station will include a nitrogen generator (1000m3/hr) and a hydrogen generator (200m3/hr). Ten Air Liquide employees will be dedicated to work at the LGETA site to serve its needs. The new gas station is due to start production at the beginning of 2005 .
