TW Cylinders, a division of Taylor-Wharton International (TWI) recently announced price increases, effective February 11, 2008 covering all acetylene and high pressure cylinder product lines.
Scott W. Boyd, Vice President of Sales and Marketing stated that, "Sustained escalation of steel surcharges, fuel and component parts costs continue to exert upward pressure on our pricing structure for acetylene and high pressure cylinders."
As a result, TW Cylinders will be implementing price increases averaging approximately 2.6% for acetylene cylinders and 5% for high pressure cylinders.
Orders placed for shipment prior to February 11, 2008, will be accepted at existing prices on a first-come/first-served basis and contingent upon available inventory and manufacturing capacity at time of order.
TWI operates 19 manufacturing, sales, warehouse and service facilities in 6 countries on 4 continents, and markets its products in over 80 countries worldwide. |
