BOC will double the production capacity of its helium transfill facility in Bessemer, Alabama, a Birmingham suburb.
A new compressor will be added that will double the production capacity from 12,000 scfh to 24,000 scfh effective early next year.
Dan Morgan, U.S. helium business director, BOC, says, “Bessemer is now our largest helium transfill in the Southeast and serves as hub plant to back up our three other transfills in the regional network. The added capacity will increase security of supply for all helium customers in the region, not only those serviced directly from Bessemer." |
