Airgas is highlighting its MicroBulk gas delivery system, featuring a VHP Perma-Cyl filling tank mounted on the delivery trailer in FABTECH which biggest metal plate machine exhibition.
It's capability allows Airgas to maintain optimum pressure during nitrogen delivery, making it the ideal delivery mode for laser cutting operations. The VHP Perma-Cyl component give the user an advantage that other forms of micro-bulk cannot because it allows us to refill user' onsite nitrogen Perma-Cyl tank while their production remains online.
The 200-liter VHP Perma-Cyl mounted on the delivery vehicle maintains a pressure of 420-450 psi during refill, minimizing the customer' downtime and reducing production inefficiencies associated with inferior cuts from in-stable pressure levels.
Airgas also offers telemetry service for Perma-Cyl installations to allow Airgas to monitor its customers' gas inventory on a daily basis in order to maximize the efficiency of MicroBulk deliveries and prevent run-outs.
