United Technologies Corporation (UTC) signed a five-year contract with Praxair for bulk and cylinder gases, hardgoods and supplies at more than 200 locations in the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico and Mexico.
It's an extension of Praxair's bulk-gases contract with UTC, which is comprised of companies such as Pratt & Whitney Jet Engines, Hamilton Sundstrand, Carrier, Sikorsky Aircraft, Otis Elevator, UTC Power and United Technologies Research Center.
UTC's facilities will use Praxair's industrial and specialty gases and related equipment for heat-treating, metal fabrication and maintenance, calibration of various instruments and emissions-testing equipment, and research and development. |
