Air Liquide Canada recently announces the participation of its employees in the 12-hour overnight Relay for Life to raise funds for the Canadian Cancer Society.
¡°I am proud of the employees at our Edmonton location that supported this good cause¡± stated Hank Bouwman, regional distribution manager at Air Liquide Canada.
One of Air Liquide Canada¡¯s employees, Loria Sharun, who was diagnosed with breast cancer, took part in the Survivor Lap at the beginning of the Relay for Life.
Loria has been an Air Liquide Canada employee for the past 17 years. Since her treatments, she has been cancer-free for the past five years.
With the support of her husband and her two children, she made it through this ordeal with a positive outlook on life.
