Scott Specialty Gases recently announced that it offers ammonia (NH3) calibration gases that meet new EPA requirements for routine span use as well as field audits of ammonia continuous emission monitors (CEM).
As outlined in recently issued EPA preliminary performance specifications for NH3 CEMs that routine daily span calibrations be performed using NH3 calibration gas that is vendor certified to be traceable to NIST or NMi with analytical accuracy of no greater than 3%.
Scott's 'Title V Ammonia Standard' are available in concentrations of 2 to 3000 ppm in nitrogen or in air. It has supplied in three different cylinder sizes (144, 76 and 29 cubic ft.). Scott's exclusive Aculife cylinder inerting process provides stability that is guaranteed for 12-months from date of manufacture.
